G is for Glasses

glasses.jpgThey sit on your face, on the sides of your nose and hook onto your ears. Whenever you put them on, the world is no longer such a blur. You finally see the world at last...........

This is how people that wear glasses feel whenever they put them on. I should know, I wear glasses.

Glasses has done wonders for many people around the world. They help people who have horrible sight get through the day. Without them, they would probably be lost and get hurt a lot from bumping into things they couldn't see. Even the simplest things, like finding the washroom or getting out of bed in the morning can be difficult.

Whenever I think about my glasses, I always get flashbacks of how I got these magnificent pieces of plastic and glass. I was in Grade 3 when weird things had been happening to me. It was getting harder for me to watch TV or see anything far away. I had to squint to see anything at all. Every day, it seemed like my sight was slowly disappearing, every day getting fuzzier and fuzzier. I didn't think it was such a big deal and thought it would go away. But it didn't and I didn't tell anyone about it.

Soon one day, when I was playing a video game with my brother, my mother noticed me squinting. I told her I couldn't see the screen completely. She immediatly became serious and called my father. What I didn't know is that they made an appointment immediately to see an eye doctor to get my eyes checked. You see my father has worn glasses since he was in the fourth grade which made them wonder...

After a interminable drive, we finally stopped at a small, white building. I immediately became scared. What was going to happen? Was it going to hurt? My father took me inside and introduced my to the eye doctor. A kind-looking man told me to come into a open but dark room and that he was going to give me some tests. So I used all my courage and followed him inside.

After those tests, which didn't hurt by the way, the doctor had me try on some mock glasses. WOW!! I could see everything crystal clear! I had to let the truth sink in, I needed glasses. At first I really didn't want glasses because people were going to make fun of me. I didn't want to look like a nerd. What I didn't know was that there are some really cool glasses out there. I got some lusciously bright red glasses, which was my favourite colour. I still went to bed that night however, more nervous then ever. I was worried and tossed and turned all night thinking that people were going to make fun of me. Eventually I did fall asleep that night, knowing my life was going to be changed forever.

It turns out, nobody did make fun of me.....or at least not that I know of. They actually commented how different I looked and how nice my glasses were. I was so relieved and happy how even though I was going to be different from now on, everyone excepted me wearing these glasses. Not to mention the fact that could actually see the board and what all the scribbles on it said.

So there's my story. I know that maybe some people think that I might look so weird in glasses, but I don't care that much anymore. Glasses have helped me in many ways and people shouldn't make fun of me just because I look different. As long as people except me for who I am and don't want me to change, then I'm fine being one of the only people throughout Gr.7 who wears glasses.

Life Lesson: Don't be afraid of being different from everyone else. Because we all can't be truly perfect in the outside or inside.

D is for Drawing

I rush up into my room, grab my pencil and paper, and plop down onto my bed. I start to chew on my pencil, thinking of a idea to pop inside of my head. Soon enough I hear the pop explode and soon I take my pencil and let it run along the surface of the paper, letting my imagination come alive....

This is how I feel when I'm drawing in my room after a long day of school. As you can tell I love to draw. I think it is one of the many best things in the world. I don't see how people could hate this activity. I mean what better way to let your ideas come alive then to draw them on paper?

There is a non-stop of ideas or things you can draw, it never ends. You just have to wait for one to come to your brain. This is one of the many reasons why you must have paitience when drawing. Another reason would probably be your skill at drawing. Remember, you are not going to start off being the best drawer in the world. Just look at some really talented artists. Do you think the started off being so good at what they do? I don't think so.

There are a lot of things that I like to draw like animals and humans. I'm not a very complicated drawer. I don't use shading or much detail, unless the character must have detail. Sometimes my drawings are just doodles or scraps of things I randomly draw when I don't have any other ideas. Yes, doodles are drawings too. The first drawings I ever did were doodles so I always didn't draw in little sketch books like I do today.

I realize that some people hate to draw because they aren't very good, but you can always practice if you want to improve. You can always look up on the internet on how to draw things, or look for how to draw books instead. That's how I started it. Another thing you can do is ask your parents. You never know, the just might know how to help you.

After you finish reading this post, you'll be probably asking yourself if you can draw and try to. Well you can!! Maybe you don't have any skill at all but I don't care. At least try to draw something before you think that you have any talent or not. Now go out there and try to at least draw something today. That's what I have to say to the world.

Life Lesson: If you want to try to do anything until you are an expert, practice! After all, practice makes perfect.

P is for Parents

"Mama? Where are you? I'm scared!" the little girl cried out as she clutched the sheets to her chest. Soon the door opened and your Mom walks, with a worried expression on her face. " What is it?" she asked as sat down beside me. " I had a very bad dream that you and Daddy disappeared and I never saw you again." Mom lifted her hand, stroked my cheek and pushed me down gently so I plopped down on to the pillow. " It was only a dream, besides we would never leave you." she answered. " Ever?" " Never. Now please go to sleep and think of happy thoughts." She kissed me goodnight and left the room. Soon it was dark again and everything was quiet. Knowing my parents would never leave me, I contently fell asleep.

This is one of the many memories of what either my Mom or my Dad would do if I either had a bad dream or had any other problems. For example, being scared of the monster under my bed or in the closet. Don't try to be fearless and say that you were never in your life scared of a monster somewhere inside in your room because I'm very sure that I have never met a person, who when they were really young, was scared of the monster in their room. I don't think it's possible. I guess it's just one of those things that happens to every kid in the world.

The definition of parents in my opinion is someone or some people who nurses you and raises you, who can be able to put up with you and make sure your life in the future will be successful. Parents don't need to be the ones, that well...created you, it could always be someone that you love as a parental guardian. Like for example, if you were a orphan, you might be adopted into a family that isn't related to you, but they care about what happens to you and love you enough to take you into their life and take care of you.

My parents are, in my opinion, the best parents I could ever have. They know when to have fun and when to be serious, they help me out, and make my life so amazing and wonderful. I'm sure most people feel this way about their parents too. I would never wish my parents could be different because my life would be different if they were. Parents are like role models and whatever they do can influence a child. I think this is why it's so important to be a good parent.

My Mom is very wonderful. She's talented, smart, funny, pretty and kind. She is very helpful and generous when it comes to homework and when I need help. She would encourage me to turn my stale and idiotic piece of work into a marvelous and lively one. Not only that, she also explains things so amazingly that I get this huge picture in my head and soon I remember it for a long time. That's how awesome she is.

My Dad is quite different than my Mom but not too much. He still acts like a little boy even though he's in his 40s. Though at times he can be funny, he can be very serious too. Though that is rare. He teases me all time and does just about everything to embarrass me. He finds it very amusing and I certainly don't. When he explains things to me, he explains it in a entirely different way that I can't understand sometimes and I have to ask him to translate into a much simpler language. My dad works as a surgeon at Grand River hospital in Waterloo. He's a bone surgeon that works on people's joints. Usually he'll come back home around 5 PM but sometimes I don't get to truly see him in a couple of days. That's why I cherish the smallest times with him, even if it just means just having a small conversation at the dinner table.

I know that some people think that their parents don't love them just because they do something that you really didn't like or they say that you are very unorganized but I don't think this the case. Parents just know what is best for you and just want you to be the best person you could ever be. Why do you think they send you to such a expensive private school? They just want the best education they can get for their children.

To conclude this, parents are probably going to be one of the most important people in your life. They teach you, care for you, help you a lot, and love you very much. Even though some people just want their parents to disappear from their lives, I would never want such a thing, especially to one of the people I love because some day, you might regret that choice.

Life Lesson: Love your parents and always tell them that you love them. Because you never know if they will be here the next day.

R is for Red

What is the colour of roses, love and apples? What is the colour for anger? What is the other colour that you mix with blue to get purple? If you were paying attention to the title, it's the colour red.

Now I'm sure I know what you're going to ask me. Why out of all the colours in the universe would I choose red? Well red is probably my all time favourite colour. Why do I like this colour? You know I'm kind of unsure about this. One reason is because I just do. I'm sure everyone likes some things for no good reason. Just like the way I love the colour red. However, there is another reason why I like this paticular colour. I think it's because that so many I my favourite things are the colour red. Many of my favourite fruit (strawberries, apples, cherries) are the colour red, my home flag has the colour red, and one of my favourite flowers (tulips) is the colour red. I'm sure you get the idea now.

Red is a hot and primary colour. It's a strong and eye catching colour. Like every colour, it represents good things and bad things. The good things would be love, passion and warning. For example, most warning signs are red like the ordinary Stop! sign, which warns you to watch out for people walking across the street. Red also represents luck and speciality. Why do you think the carpet that V.I.Ps and celebrities walk on is the colour red? In China, the colour red represents happiness and may be used to attract good luck.

Sadly though, there are some bad things about this stupendous colour. Anger, war and blood are some of the many bad things representing red. Like in a war if one side lifts up a red flag, it indicates that they want to warn, engage or start the battle. There's also a lot of blood spilled during a war, which isn't the nicest thing in the world. During the war of 1812, one side wore red coats to hide any sign of blood. Maybe this is why not many people like the colour red.

Like most things in the world, people either like or dislike this colour. I however happen to love this is a colour. I really don't care if people hate this colour. I won't judge them for it because if we all liked the same colour, then the world would be a somewhat red place if you know what I mean.

Life Lesson: If we were all the same, the world would be a boring, meaningless place. So be happy with the things you love!

M is for March Break

You are wriggling in your seat, waiting, waiting for the moment to be free from school. You stare at the clock. Tick...tock....tick....tock. Soon you hear the bell ringing in your ears. You sprint and out of the room, yelling that you're free for the perhaps one of the most memorable vacations of your life.

This is how probably everyone feels when you are on the last day of school 'till March Break. My classmates and I are especially lucky because we actually get 2 weeks of school off instead of only 1. You feel so relieved after the bell rings because while you're waiting, it feels like you are going to explode if you don't get out the room in a few seconds. Trust me, I feel like this at the beginning of every vacation and I'm sure that you do too.

Most people usually go traveling for the vacation and have the most wonderful time. Or I guess some people stay at home the whole 2 weeks and have a great time too. I know I'm one of the lucky ones because I always go on vacation during the March Break. Usually I go to warm places like St. Lucia or the Bahamas, except for the one time I went to Whistler to go skiing. So by the time I come back from vacation, I either have a tan or I'm redder than usually from the sun.

This March Break, I went to Florida, but I also went to my farm in Kimberly to go skiing before all the snow melted. I went skiing at Beaver Valley, the place where some of the people go skiing or snowboarding in my class. I remember going down the hills there, knowing I must get the most fun out of it because I won't be coming back until next December. I also remember the feeling of a strange sadness knowing I won't be doing one of the sports I love for about 9 more months. I always have fun skiing.

I went to Florida the second week of March Break from the Monday to the Friday. My Mom, brother and I went to my Grammie and Crappie's place in Long Boat Key. My Dad sadly didn't come for he had to go to work the whole week we were away. My family and I didn't do anything too exciting but I did have a nice time with my grandparents. I had lots of high lights on this trip but I did however have some low lights too.

My first and most important highlight was my 13th birthday on the 24th. I was so happy that I was finally 13 because I was waiting for a while turn 13. In my class, turning 13 is a awesome step in your life. It usually means you're more grown-up or more mature and cooler than you were at 12. For my birthday, we celebrated by going to a cool fish restaurant called The Beach House. We were lucky we came a bit early because as soon as we got our table, it seemed that swarms of people came in, making a huge line-up at the front. I had a rather "fishy" meal consisting of Fish and Chips and a side dish of squid called Calamari. It was very tasty considering the crew here fish their own fish so it makes the dish taste even better. As soon as we got home, we had a small chocolate cake for dessert and opened my presents. I got a book I've been waiting so long for and a new sketchbook from my grandparents. I had a stupendous birthday and that's all I can say.

My other most important highlight would be going mini golfing with my Mom and brother on our last full day of staying in Florida. Since there wasn't much to do, we went to a place called Smuggler's Cove. From its name, the golf course had a pirate theme with caves, a river, and a pirate ship where you go inside to go to the next hole. It was very neat. That's not all either. There is even a place where you can feed live gators! No they weren't very big , just the smaller species of gator instead. What we did to feed them was take a small piece of meat, attach it to a fishing hook and then just wait until a gator comes along to eat the meat off the hook. Sometimes however the gator just won't let go of the hook no matter how hard you pull. At times we would bring up the fishing pole a bit and soon the gator would just be hanging there, gripping onto the hook and stubbornly not letting go. Guess what else happened? I got a hole in one!!! I was overjoyed when I got the golf ball in the hole because I have never gotten a hole in one ever!!! This golf course was probably one of the best I had ever been to.

When I talk about some of the few low lights I had, I guess they weren't too bad. I probably had much worst experiences than I had on the trip. One of the low lights was probably when I lost my golf ball at the mini golf. It was because I was so annoyed at my brother for he kept being the obnoxious boy he always is so I let out my annoyance on the ball and soon it flew through the air, bounced off the fence and landed somewhere we couldn't look at. Oops.

Another unimportant low light was that I kept losing to my grandpa at football on the beach. I mean how embarrassing is that? To get beaten by my brother at something is bad enough but a man who's in his 70s? That's even worse! Then again he did have my brother on his team and I was out numbered by 1 person so, I'm not sure if that counts or not. Oh well, at least I learned something from this: Just because grandparents are older and retired, doesn't mean they can't kick your butt at something. Keep this in mind if you ever challenge a older person to something.

I could write a lot more about how my March Break went but I would probably bore you guys. I should end my post on this note. I had a very awesome March Break and I'm sure this certain one will be a memorable one to me. I hope all you guys had just as much fun this March Break as I did.

Life Lesson: No matter what kind of vacation you go on, it is always nice to make memorable with your friends or family.

E is for Eos

The Sun has disappeared and the Moon has appeared in the night sky. The night is growing long and dark. Hours later, you see weak sunlight in the distance, making all the shadows of night soon disappear and the sky beginning to brighten up in lighter colours.
This passage is describing the time of dawn. Eos is the goddess of dawn. She is my favourite minor goddess and my friends say if I was a demigod (like in the Percy Jackson series), she would be my mother because I seem to always wake around dawn and I help people like Eos does.

Eos is the daughter of the Titans, Hyperion (titan of light) and Theia (titaness of sorcery). She has two siblings, Helios (god of the sun) and Selene (goddess of the moon). Each morning, she would drive away the shadows of night and open up the gates to heaven and help her brother Helios ride his chariot across the sky. She was often described as a "rosy-fingered" goddess. Her Roman name is Aurora.

She was also known to have many affairs with men, especially mortals. This was because she was once in love with Ares (god of war) and Aphrodite (goddess of love),who was his official lover, became very jealous putting her under a curse where she would have to be in eternally in love with someone. So she had no choice.

One of her love affairs was with a Trojan named Tithonus who she kidnapped and took to Ethiopia. They had two sons, Memnon and Emathion. She and Tithonus loved each other so much that she asked Zeus (god of sky and also King of the gods) to grant Tithonus eternal life. However, she forgot to ask for him to be young forever. So Tithonus kept aging and soon Eos shut him up in her palace where he kept shrinking until he was nothing but a grasshoper.

In the Trojan war, Eos's son Memnon was fighting Achilles. Eos and Achilles' mother Thetis (a sea nymph and one of Zeus' lovers) ran to Zeus to beg mercy for Memnon. Zeus put both boys "fates" on a scale. Since Memnon's "fate" was heavier, he was the one that was to be killed. Soon Memnon was slain and Eos grieved for him. It is said that her tears were became the dew on the fields we see each morning.

Many tradgies have happened to this goddess. She lost lots of lovers, and lost some of her children including Memnon. She should be appreciated more in my opinon. Not many people remember her because she has seemed to faded away out of Greek mythology. I think this is sad because she is somewhat of a important goddess since she helps the Sun rise everyday. Did you know she is the mother of Astraios' (god of stars, one of her lovers) children: Eosphoros (the morning star), Hesperos (the evening star), Boreas (North Wind), Eurus (East Wind), Notus (South Wind) and Zephyrus (West Wind)? As I said before, she had many other children, but I think these are her most famous. Each of the Winds are connected to the seasons: Boreas being the cold breath of winter, Eurus being the crisp breezes of fall, Notus being the rainstorms of summer and Zephyrus being the fresh breezes of spring.

Well that's about it. I hope I didn't bore you to death about this post and that you learned something a bit more about Greek mythology.

Life Lesson:
Even though Eos is not as important as the major gods or goddesses like the Olympians, she makes her contribution and without her, the day would never begin. Therefore even though we may do just the smallest of things, we can still make a positive contribution to any group effort.

F is for Friends

Who helps you when you're down? Who stand up for you when people are making fun of you? Who is there to make your life full of happiness and fun? If you haven't guessed the answers to these questions, the answer is your friends.

Yes, I do realize that everyone is doing a post about friends, but they're so special to everyone right? Is that why we write about them? Anyways, I've had many friends in my life. Some were friends with me for a day and some are friends I don't hang out with anymore but still like them and talk to them every once in a while. At my old school, I had 3 best friends, Savannah, Emily and Aurora. Savannah has been doing synchronized swimming every since she was in SK and know goes into tournaments because she's on like a major girl's swim team. She was smart, friendly and someone you can tell your problems to and comfort you in times of trouble. Emily was one of those girly girls who loves fashion. She was bubbly and upbeat and would be one of those girls who wasn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in. And finally Aurora was my Mexican friend who was able to speak Spanish. She was somewhat quiet but she had a wild side too. She was one of those friends you can go to and would listen or for a couple of laughs to make you feel better. After all, laughter is the best medicine. When I moved to a new school, my friendships with them grew apart. I think even though we never see each other anymore, I'll always appreciate the friendship I've had with them.

When I moved to SJK in Gr6, I thought I wasn't going to have any other friends other than Jamie, who I've known since I did dance with her when I was 5 or something. But I was wrong. I'll tell you a bit about the friends I hang out with now. First there's Marina , the really random friend. She talks about how "Cheesebutt" will destroy the world and that "They" will capture us and eat us for breakfast. I don't know who or what " Cheesebutt" and " They" are. I don't think anyone knows except her. She's cool and loves her pets (especially her cat Pudding). She is the kind of person that will do anything for the people she loves and will get even with anyone who makes her friends anything but happy. So my advice, don't make her mad. You'll regret it. Next is Chloe, the crazy curly-haired girl who is very......cat-like. Anyone who knows her knows that she LOVES cats more than other animal on the planet. She does seem tough to some people, but if you know her like me then you know that she does have a soft side. She is a person that can comfort you when you're upset, but if you're crying over spilled milk as they say, she would tell to get over it and move on. Then there is Libby, who seems just a gloomy red head, but she's WAY more than that. She's probably one of the most loyal friends I could have. She is obsessed with pigs and that's probably one of the main reasons she's a vegetarian. But she likes to eat fish, just like Chloe. Did you know that she can't smell? Weird huh? And last but not least there's Darcy, my volleyball and field hockey superstar friend. She's the optimistic girl in our group who doesn't seem to be anything but happy. Sure she could get annoyed at times, but she's not the one to hold a grudge. She's the kind of girl that will always cheer you up when you're just feeling down.

Well that's about it. I could go on and on about my best pals, but I would have to end this post soon enough. I realize that my friends aren't the most popular girls in the school, but I don't care if they're popular or not. All I have to say is that I love my friends no matter what. I don't care if they are a bit weird and random, they just make my life very happy and interesting. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! And to Marina: I miss you.

Life Lesson:

A is for Apples

If you're wondering why I'm using the first letter of the alphabet for a fruit, here's why:
1. I like apples. They're probably one of my fav fruits.
2. They make a huge CRUNCH when I bit into one.
3. Every fall, I go apple-picking with my family and have lots of fun.
I know if I stop here, this post will probably be the most boring post in 7 grade so I'm going to make this post as super duper as possible.

I like apples because most of them have a very sweet taste(even though it's good for you) and there are soooo many different kinds!!! There are empire, macintosh, gala, granny smith, red delicous and paula red, to name a few. I like all of them but my absolute favourite kind is probably macintosh because when I eat it, it gives my tastebuds a sweet-sour taste that's oh so delicious. I also like how red the outside is but how startling white it is on the inside. I know you would probably think that I'm kind of weird liking apples, but I'm just a fruity girl because I love fruits.

I just love the sound of someone biting into a apple. Seriously I do. The CRUNCH a person makes when they drive their teeth into the outer layer. It is a sharp one but a mix between sharp and soft, so it's not too sharp or not too soft. It's just right! It's probably one of my favourite sounds next to wolves howling or the sound of a whispering breeze, but Ms.Weldon told us that too many people getting are getting off topic so I'm going to stop getting off topic right..............now.

Like I said in my intro, every fall I go apple-picking with my family at this one place called Chudleighs. I have been going ever since I can remember. At Chudleighs there is a playground and a petting zoo as well as the apple orchards. At the playgroud, there's a ladder you go up and and you can either go down on the wimpy small slide, that's for teeny kids or the major slide that bigger kids go on. I always go on the bigger slide. It's awesome. When you go down it feels like for a split second you're flying then you're just sliding on your bottom into a pile of hay, getting hay all over you. It's kind of bad because my Dad is allergic to hay, no joke. The petting zoo is also awesomematic (give credit to M. O'Donovan for this word, it's his). There's lots of different animals. Sure they are only farm animals but they're still cool. They're chickens, rabbits, donkeys, dogs, ponies and pigs. The last time I went there, I remember seeing a sow with lots of piglets. They were very cute. To get back to the apples, when we go apple picking, you get to go on to a big tractor that takes you through the apple orchards. When you see the types of apples you want, you just hop off and go pick apples. By the time we finish picking, we probably fill about 4 bags full of apples. Those apples last quite a long time. With some of the apples, my Mummy makes an apple crisp and apple pies.

Yes, I know you guys were probably looking for something more interesting but hey this assignment is about our life in letters right? Anyways my advice to you is to go apple picking with your family sometime. You never know, you just might have a lot of fun.

Life Lesson: Enjoy the simple things in life. Sometimes they are the things that you remember the most when you grow up.

W is for Warriors

I look around the town library, looking around all the different shelves. I see picture books, science books, fiction, non-fiction......all sorts of books. Then I come a across a small, slightly crumpled book. It looked like any regular paperback but something about it interested me. The series was called WARRIORS but there were cats on the front and back. I was like "What the ...?" How can cats have anything to do with warriors? This must be a stupid book. Boy, was I wrong.

If you haven't guessed already, this post is about one of my favourite book series (next to Percy Jackson and The Olympians) Warriors, which are written by Erin Hunter. This book series is about cats living and survivng in the wild. They live in these groups called Clans. There are 5 Clans: ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan , ShadowClan and StarClan. The ThunderClan are usually called the Clan of heroes for the heroic deeds they've done in the past. They live in the forest and usually hunt for mice and birds. The WindClan are called, by the other Clans, cowards for being quick to flee rather than fight. They live in an open field and have the speed to hunt their main food: rabbits. The RiverClan is best known for their love of the water. They live right beside a river and are the only Clan that can swim and hunt fish. The next Clan is ShadowClan. This Clan is known for its evil, battle-hungry past. They say they are the most evil of the Clans, but they're just proud and aggressive. They live in a dark, empty moorland and eat things like frogs and crowfood(garbage). And last, but certainly not least, the StarClan. This is the place cats go when they die. Yes there's a place that dead cats go to. They watch over the living, give them prophecies indicating their destinies. They also give a leader of a Clan 9 lives. It's kind of weird but cool.

In every Clan, there are the warriors, the ones that defend and feed the Clan. Queens who are taking care of kits before they're six moons(months)old. The medicine cat who helps heal cats when they're injured or ill and interpret omens from the StarClan. The elders who are retired warriors, the deputy who becomes the leader after the past leader dies and of course the leader who leads the Clan and makes the decisions. These cats follow their code of honour like a knight's code of honour from the medieval times. If they break the code, they are seriously punished. For example, it's against their law to fall in love with cat from another Clan or for them to cross other Clan's borders. So the warrior code is very important to them and keeps everything in balance.

"Fire alone can save our Clan."
This was the prophecy that started the series. It was Spottedleaf, the ThunderClan medicine cat, who received this from StarClan one night along with Bluestar, the ThunderClan leader. At the time, ThunderClan and were being attacked by their battle-hungry neighbours. Bluestar was worried because they were losing warriors and there were fewer kits to apprentice. When Spottedleaf told her the message from StarClan, Bluestar was confused. Fire is feared by all Clans. How can it save us? What they didn't know that the prophecy didn't mean that they would be saved by fire but by a cat that was like fire. Who is this cat? And when will this prophecy be fulfilled? My friends you're just going to have get those books and find out by yourselves.

Whew, that's alot of typing. I can go on forever on about the events that have happened, who I hate, who I love and such but I didn't want to bore you guys to death. I hope I entertained you guys and might interest some of you guys in trying out some of these books.

Life Lesson: They say the saying: "Don't judge a book by its cover" refers to never judging people before you know them, but I think this can apply to books as well. A certain book might look stupid but you never know. Maybe after you give it a try you might become obsessed with it. Just like I have with the Warriors series.
